Gandhar Savur’s primary focus is on music and business law, applying his experience in the areas of licensing, recording agreements and publishing to a practice involving artist side representation and the creation of new business ventures in the music industry. Gandhar got his start handling legal affairs in the tv/film licensing department of Matador Records. In addition to his work with SP law, Gandhar currently handles business and legal affairs services for a small handful of music related companies, including the tv/film licensing company Bank Robber Music, its offshoot music publishing entity House of Hassle, and the indie label Ernest Jenning Record Co. Gandhar’s roster of legal clients include artists, record labels, composers, producers and managers. Gandhar received his BS in Business Management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 2000, and his J.D. from St. Johns School of Law in 2005, as the Co-President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and the VP of the Intellectual Property Society. He subsequently was admitted to the NY, NJ and FL bar associations.

Rob Pellecchia focuses on matters in the areas of transactional intellectual property, new media and corporate law.  He represents a vast array of clients including film and television production companies, literary agencies, recording artists, writers, directors, visual artists, record labels, public relations firms, and fashion designers.  Prior to founding Savur & Pellecchia LLP, Rob practiced as an associate of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz PC, where he acted as production counsel on both independent and studio films, and advised clients including television networks, production companies, actors, directors, and independent producers.  Rob started his legal career in-house at the business affairs department of Focus Features, where he handled the international licensing and distribution of films, negotiated motion picture sales and distribution agreements and attended and participated in major international filmmarkets and festivals, including Cannes and AFM.   Rob received a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in intellectual property law.  While at Cardozo, he served as the Business Editor of the Cardozo Public Law, Policy and Ethics Journal.  Rob is admitted to the bar in the state of New York.
